UNV 4MP LPR/ANPR Bullet Camera — 8-32mm Motorized Zoom, IR Illumination, Onboard Access Control

The PKC2640@Z80-IR-P is a professional License Plate Recognition camera engineered for parking access, gate control, and road surveillance. Its 4MP 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor and 8–32mm motorized zoom lens deliver sharp, readable plate images at distance, while the onboard LPR engine processes plates at speeds up to 80 km/h across both road and entry/exit scenarios simultaneously — no mode switching required. Onboard allowlist/blocklist management (up to 20,000 plates each) and a direct relay output let this camera control boom barriers and gate hardware as a standalone unit, without a separate controller. Four IR LED illuminators cover 50 meters (164 ft) for consistent night-time plate capture. NDAA compliant. Rated IP67, IK10, and operational from -40°C to 60°C.

UNV 4MP License Plate Recognition (LPR/ANPR) Bullet IP Camera with 8-32mm Motorized Lens, IR Illumination & Intelligent Access Control

PKC2640@Z80-IR-P

READ EVERY PLATE. CONTROL EVERY ENTRY.
The UNV PKC2640@Z80-IR-P is a purpose-built License Plate Recognition (LPR/ANPR) bullet camera engineered for parking lots, gate access systems, facility entrances, and road surveillance. With a 4MP 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor, an 8–32mm motorized zoom lens for precise long-range plate capture, 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range, and onboard deep learning LPR intelligence that reads plates at speeds up to 80 km/h, this camera does more than watch — it decides. NDAA compliant. Built for continuous outdoor use in extreme conditions.

4MP HIGH-RESOLUTION LPR IMAGE CAPTURE

The PKC2640@Z80-IR-P captures video at 4MP (2688 × 1520) at up to 30fps, providing the pixel density required for reliable license plate character recognition at distance. The 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor delivers exceptional low-light sensitivity down to 0.002 Lux (F1.6) with the IR illuminators active, ensuring consistent plate readability day and night. A 120 dB True Wide Dynamic Range handles challenging mixed-lighting environments — bright headlights against a dark background, or sun-lit driveways with deep shadows — without washing out the plate image.

8–32mm MOTORIZED ZOOM LENS — DIAL IN YOUR DETECTION ZONE

Unlike fixed-lens LPR cameras that lock you into one coverage distance, the 8–32mm motorized zoom lens allows precise optical adjustment to match your specific lane width and capture distance. Whether you’re monitoring a single entry lane at close range or a multi-lane approach at distance, the zoom lens lets you frame the capture zone exactly right without moving the camera mounting point. Motorized control enables remote focal length adjustment from your management software.

INTELLIGENT LPR ENGINE — UP TO 80 KM/H

The built-in LPR engine accurately reads license plates on vehicles traveling up to 80 km/h on regular road approaches and up to 30 km/h at parking entrances and exits. Critically, the PKC2640@Z80-IR-P supports simultaneous application to both road and entry/exit scenes without requiring manual mode switching — a single camera can handle mixed traffic scenarios at complex facility entrances. The system recognizes license plates containing numbers and letters across international formats.

ALLOWLIST & BLOCKLIST — ONBOARD ACCESS CONTROL

The camera operates as a standalone intelligent access control node, with onboard storage for up to 20,000 license plates per list across both an allowlist and a blocklist. Lists support import, export, add, and delete operations — making fleet management, permit updates, and ban enforcement manageable at scale. When a plate is read, the camera applies your configured barrier opening policy and can directly trigger the relay output to open or hold a gate, boom barrier, or door controller — all without requiring a separate controller or server to be online.

FOUR CONFIGURABLE BARRIER OPENING POLICIES

The access control behavior is fully configurable to match your operational requirements. You can set the barrier to open only for recognized plates, open for all vehicles detected, open only for plates on the allowlist, or open for any vehicle not on the blocklist. A configurable Boolean output ID further allows integration with complex multi-device access systems. This flexibility makes the PKC2640@Z80-IR-P equally suited for open visitor parking, controlled employee access, and secure restricted zones.

IMAGE OSD WITH LICENSE PLATE OVERLAY

The camera supports rich on-screen data overlays on captured images including time stamp, recognized license plate number, device ID, camera ID, allowlist status, image authentication ID, location, and three custom text fields. This metadata-rich capture simplifies post-event review, provides immediate evidence value, and integrates cleanly with parking management and security reporting systems.

IR ILLUMINATION — 50-METER NIGHT COVERAGE

The PKC2640@Z80-IR-P integrates four IR LED illuminators reaching 50 meters (164 ft), with automatic on/off control to activate at dusk and disable at dawn. The IR illumination is tuned for license plate reflectivity to maximize character contrast in plate images captured at night — a critical performance requirement that general-purpose IR cameras often fail to meet. At 0.002 Lux minimum illumination (F1.6, AGC ON), the sensor produces usable images even when illumination falls below normal IR range.

RELAY OUTPUT — DIRECT GATE & BARRIER INTEGRATION

A built-in relay output (Boolean output: AC 125V/0.3A, DC 30V/1A rated) enables the PKC2640@Z80-IR-P to directly control gate barriers, boom arms, electromagnetic locks, and other access hardware. Two Boolean inputs support level (up to DC 5V) and switch signal types for connecting external triggers, sensors, or loop detectors. A dedicated RS485 serial port provides additional integration with parking management hardware and controllers. Audio I/O (1 input, 1 output) and BNC video output (PAL/NTSC) round out the interface options.

PoE+ POWERED — SINGLE-CABLE INSTALLATION

The PKC2640@Z80-IR-P supports PoE (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) for single-cable power and data, simplifying installation to a single Ethernet run. DC 12V (±25% / -10%) is also supported for installations with local power supplies. Maximum power consumption is 20W, well within PoE+ Class 4 budgets. The camera includes a built-in junction box for clean tail cable management at the mount point.

IP67 + IK10 + -40°C COLD-WEATHER RATED

The PKC2640@Z80-IR-P is housed in a robust metal bullet body rated IP67 for full dust and water ingress protection and IK10 for resistance to heavy physical impact. The operating temperature range extends from -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F) — providing reliable operation through harsh winter conditions without a heater. The included 3-axis mounting bracket enables precise pan, tilt, and rotation adjustment during installation to align the capture zone with your lane geometry.

EDGE STORAGE + ONVIF INTEGRATION

A MicroSD card slot (up to 256 GB) supports local edge storage with ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) for gap-free recording even during network interruptions. Integration with VMS, access control platforms, and parking management systems is supported via ONVIF (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T), SDK, and API.

NDAA COMPLIANT | AUTHORIZED UNV DEALER

The PKC2640@Z80-IR-P is NDAA Section 889 compliant, suitable for use in government facilities, federal contracts, and regulated commercial applications. Sold and supported by Tech Security USA — Authorized Uniview (UNV) Dealer, Lynnwood, WA. 100% Positive eBay Feedback.
